On average, drugs are detectable in the urine for 24 to 48 hours after a one time use and for 5 to 10 days after habitual use. In some cases, a habitual user’s urine drug screen may produce a positive result for up to 4 weeks, depending on the amount of use.
Test results for urine drug screenings are typically available next business day in the event of a negative test result. Positive test results take several extra days for confirmation. Test results can be emailed, mailed or faxed immediately upon being received.
